Default Did 'Secrets and Lies' meet up to your expectations?

As in the theme of 'Secrets and Lies', not just the series in general. I think Michael in the first week, was a great way to the start the series! But nothing has really topped that for me, though the safe house was also a great part of the show. What are your thoughts?

Hmm

The Michael twist was ok, though sometimes it felt like BB gave the game away far too easily by continually calling him up to the diary room and sending him on hour long trips to BOTS. I would have found the safe house twist better if it hadn't already been done a million times before. If they could have come up with a different variation of the same thing that was exclusive to the secrets and lies theme I probably would have enjoyed it more. I liked the reverse nominees twist, it's just a shame it was ruined by so many housemates assuming it was going to happen.

Nope passed my by completely. Apart from week with one bad actor it was all the same old stuff rehashed .A few extra toys and children's party games thrown in, I presume to entertain the horrible twins, their favourites.

No, the theme overall has been pretty weak. There should have been more big secrets and some more lies that were more creative and interesting, with bigger ramifications.

Overall no, it gave too much opportunity for even more than usual BB meddling with the running of the series.
For me I would describe it as fair at best overall and really bad and inappropriate on a few occasions too.

Was expecting more tbh
Looking back the whole Michael thing doesnt even feel like it was a part of this series. like someone said they made it too obvious and it should of last about two weeks longer. the secret house has been done before. although the sam/sophie/dan eviction was a good twist

No, they've gone too easy on the housemates this year, eg the takeaway tasks, only sending the housemates to jail for a few hours, doing the housemates laundry, they really haven't put any effort into being harsh on the housemates this year, and its a shame, as I really thought the producers had cleared up their act this year.

Not really.
I can't complain because I've really enjoyed this years show.

But I expected an overhaul of the format, which I really think should be done at some point.

It's a shame that for financial reasons we can never get rid of the public vote.

The housemates have done their own laundry this year.

The housemates have rarely been spoiled with full takeaways like previous years.

The punishments have been better than previous years where they would simply turn off the hot water.

I have enjoyed this years show.
Have at times thought the secrets and lies were aimed at us the viewing public, them making it up as it has gone along.

Enjoyed it on the whole, but to be honest the Tasks this year have been pretty crap, mostly to do with dunking, splashing etc... I would have preferred much longer better thought out tasks that actually challenged the HM. What we've had this year is certainly the worst most simplistic boring tasks in many a year...!!!

LOL, yeah it does.

It started off well with Michael, but then it just fizzled out.

The sudden Dan eviction wasn't a secret or a lie, it was just plain bad for the show.

I suppose the biggest effect it has had has been on the housemates. They really don't trust anyone, they have no loyalty to anyone. Or maybe they were that way to start with. Now Sam is like a sore thumb in that group.

I think people are being to hard on it. Yes it wasn't perfect but name a BB that was. I think its a major improvement and highly enjoyable.

I think it's been brilliant so far. I think this has been the best BB so far for it's mixture of housemates and tasks. However, either BB has missed an opportunity to express 'Secrets and Lies' to it's logical conclusion OR it is yet to come! What I mean is:
1. Who is not what they are supposed to be.
2. Who is not what gender we think they are?
I honestly thought (at the beginning) that most of the housemates had a major secret.
