Going to press quick reply and the cursor slipping/jumping w.e. your lazy hands do to make the "<< Previous Thread" button get pressed instead, therefore losing all of your post and going to another thread.

Nah but I sometimes either accidentally refresh or press backspace when typing a post to take me off the page, one of the benefits of a 'go advanced' post is that it keeps your text when that happens but the quick reply box loses it

I've had the backspace problem before as well! I must be lazy because I even use quick reply for essay replies
