Default #Millionmaskmarch

Did anyone know today was a day of global protest?
1000 people marched to buckingham palace, there were 9 arrests.
Not in the news was it?...our media is more corrupt than it ever was! RT have live coverage.

I usually watch Al Jazeera, they are what the BBC used to be, impartial and unbiased.

It's all getting a bit sinister isn't it, how and why are politics allowed to have such a stranglehold on the media?

Not that sinister, it's one of the top stories on the BBC site and currently the top read, it's a new story though so won't have had much coverage on daily news bulletins or anything http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-24830123

Why was it not featured in one of the televised news bulletins throughout the day?...
It seems devisive, they won't want coverage of acts of civil disobedience... That's not to say it's not newsworthy.

Russell Brand attended the Million Mask March in London

Quote:
"Whatever party they claim to represent in the day, at night they show their true colours and all go to the same party," said Brand on Twitter, using the #MillionMaskMarch hashtag.
They burned energy bills and there were a few minor clashed but no arrests.

They should sack whoever's doing their publicity. 1000 people? With social networking? Not exactly a sparkling success, I'd say.

It was on RT live there had been 9 arrests?
Is a protest of 1000 not enough, let's hope the next one is bigger then eh?

Amazing how much that thread title looks like German, as a language which abounds with compound words it would look like this: Millionenmaskenmarsch

Shockingly there is an update on the BBC website, there were 100s of protesters by the picture.
Police in riot gear and 15 arrests.
Why the media blackout, the teachers strike got no coverage either.
Is our media working for us or against us?

Imagine for a minute if all the people who supported the march, put the same amount of time and effort into studying or finding a job as they put into this nonsense.

It's brilliant, have a look the guy is unconventional in his approach but what he says really resonates.
If you agree with the 'managed decline' theory this is a must read.
