I have turkey on Christmas Day and beef on Boxing Day, can't wait

Well, we have a turkey and a Joint of ham, I really dislike turkey.

actually dont you pity the turkeys why do people feel they have to eat turkey what is this unwritten rule thta we have to follow. i prefer chinese reheated no washing up no mess tasty and one less turkey on its way to the freezer

I usually have a veggie ham with pineapple sauce.

We normally have a large piece of topside, a leg of pork, and either a turkey turkey crown or turkey breast joint for Christmas day, the we have cold cuts for a couple of days after.

Gammon ham for Christmas day this year and our normal Christmas meal later in the week.

Not allowed, I get turkey a lot so have sickened everyone off
Might just get a little peice of beef a little leg of lamb and a free range chicken so we can take our pick.

Oh yeah I know boxing day is St Stephens but I have never heard/seen anyone actually calling it that before, my brother in law and his family are all Irish and they still say boxing day

They probably just say the so you know what they're talking about, I've never heard an Irish person in Ireland call it Boxing Day, although I have called it Boxing day on occasion when talking to British people just so they know what I'm talking about

We are going out for Christmas dinner but will still get a turkey crown and cook it on Christmas eve so we have some for turkey sandwiches
