didn't someone just complain today about soaps not having disabled people

what a weird coincidence that they announce the casting of their most disabled character yet lmao (woops I don't mean that to be offensive)

oh my god I remember that guy in the wheelchair they had a couple of years back, he was an absolute *****. I don't like the disabled woman in corrie as well

I think a new tv trope that's become a cliché is to have characters in wheelchairs who are unpleasant/ spikey/ nasty to avoid the old nicey wicey person in a wheelchair trope. However, I am glad the actress won the role on merit so no one can say EE is being PC.
