I hope this is allowed.

Any chance you guys could do my dissertation survey? It'd take like 5 minutes tops and I'd really appreciate it.

It's on the subject of online video piracy and peoples rationalisations for doing this.

The purpose of my dissertation is to explore
the act of online video piracy.
I plan to find out whether it is a crime
that is regularly committed;
if all piracy is illegal and focus on different
people’s rationalisations for committing this act.]

There are some schools of thought that suggest that remixes on YouTube, edit's etc. that use copyrighted material are pirating also.
This is what I'm investigating when I talk about that.

Yes but some stay on the site
as the Record Label thinks of doing a Official Bootleg CD
So they help old or dead artists get back in to sales
