A man with absolutely no experience whatsoever of managing in English football, what a huge gamble.

My point being it's Pellegrini's first year in the job and he is not doing too badly :.

Add Roberto Maninci to the list if we are doing a list!

Did Wenger manage in UK before Arsenal?

Loads of British managers with only EPL experience fail! How many times has Big Sam been sacked! In fact I think all Brit managers should spend time abroad. An ambitions talented British manager could have done what Simeone has at Atletico and learnt a thing or two.

The Three greatest managers the Premier League has seen all had zero experience managing in England. The worry over Van Gaal is the fact he is a loose cannon...not experience of all things FFS

If you read my post I didn't say he'd fail, I said it's a gamble.

A couple of things you should be concerned about if he does get the job.

1) This off season is gonna be vital for you bringing players in, pre season training bringing the confidence back to the players that have evidently lost it. Van Gaal's main priority this off season is managing at the World Cup.

2) When the season gets underway he'll be 63 years old, while short term that's not a major concern, long term it is for the stability of the club. In two years time are you gonna be looking to change the Manager again? which will bring a different philosophy and another overhaul in players.

Club has already been doing deals.

Van Gaal may last a few years. The way management is nowadays pretty much every club changes managers every few years. A hope would be Van Gaal comes in for a few years and then Klopp as his contract could be up around the time Van Gaal may decide to call it a day.

Well the first point you make is disturbing, why would you be doing deals with players which may not fit in to the plans of an incoming manager?

You say every club changes managers every few years nowadays, that may be true, but how many clubs nowadays are having continued success year on year, you know the way you did when you had stability? I bet you could count them clubs on one hand.
