I was just looking back over the last two years on TiBB and it's so funny seeing how the dynamics all change every few months between members, myself included. Any noticeable ones for anyone here?

I did once because it used to be in every forum but I think some of the gifs are funny and used in a correct dosage they are fine plus they are generally contained to C & G/music now. I try and keep my usage of them to Chat and Games (usually threads I have created or one where it makes no difference if they are posted in there) and a few threads (that I have usually made) in Music. I'd never take them to serious debates for example, it's not the place for them there.


Plus since stepping down as mod I don;t take this forum as seriously anymore because I don;t have to, I gave up that role for a reason so I could have a laugh on here more and enjoy it.

Yeah I wasn't accusing you of spamming I was saying of all the forum dynamics changing yours sticks out the most with the group of members you talk to most these days.

Still don't get how gif spam is considered 'A laugh' but that's a completely different discussion.

I wouldn't call 18 - 23 kids and I talk to most people on here.

..I'm not sure 'dynamics' have changed, have they..?..I don't think so in most things..so far as the gifs/smiley/'silly' type threads go..?..they've always been here so far as I can remember but I think on the whole they're often 'in joke' type things/something that maybe only certain people understand and if you're not 'in' on that joke/moment then you never get them and may find them annoying and if you are 'in' then you do and join in...I've always seen members say 'uggh, that's annoying' and other members say 'it's just harmless fun'....I always think it's just perceptions in general that change/and obviously new members coming all the time as well...

The dynamics of the forum are always changing constantly..another noticeable one that pops into my head is members that aren't active any more or don't log in nearly as much as they used to, Marc, Eoin, Nathan springs to mind, Locke and Novo tend to be here but not posting as much as they used to which brings me onto the chat threads changing, Nailsworth Natter is barely posted in compared to how active it was a couple of years ago and then the lounge thread was very different when Scott was banned and has now changed yet again that he is back.

Yeah this is what I meant, how when certain people post less other gravitate to different social interactions.

Just to clarify to everyone, I didn't mean the dynamic changing was a bad thing, it was just something I noticed happens every few months.
