I actually think he was talking about something else and then caught himself and used "a place to stay" as a cover-up...

They've had the boyfriend discussion. She told him she was in an on/off relationship for 2 years and broke up with him before she went on BB. The game plan BS is over, all that is left is what you think of each of them as individuals and as a couple. I don't like Steven, I like Kimberly and think their relationship is boring and wish that BB would completely ignore it
