She says that women who feel pain in childbirth are dicks and wimps. My wife was in freaking agony, and I've never heard of a pain free birth from any woman. What size of an opening has that women? It must be as as large as the channel tunnel.

this was the best thing helen has ever said, because it was honest from her experience. thats not to say all pregnancies are the same but fair play some women have wonderfully smooth pregnancies yet milk the hell out of pregnancy all their lives.

It was honest from her experience? So she assumes any woman who didn't have the same experience as her and feel no pain (is that even possible?) are dicks. Her lack of empathy is astounding.

If Kimberly ever gave birth, she would be just lay there with sunglasses on doing her nails asking "shall I open it yet or what? I'm kinda bored now"

Are there any women on here who had no pain with the birth of their first child in particular? I take umbrage at my wife being considered a dick for having a 20 hour very painful labour. |

She made a broad sweeping statement about all women, and my wife and anyone else who has given birth is included in her opinion. So please stop making it personal. Do not start twisting things to include my wife in your feminist rants.

She has no filter!
She uses words that a lot of people find offensive, but it's an everyday vocabulary for her. Child birth is painful, but it also depends on your pain thresh hold, my husband stubs his toe and screams the house down, I stub my toe and quietly say ouch! It doesn't make him a dick or a wimp ![]() |

She probably had a skilled anaesthetist who carried out a perfect epidural (too little and it'll still hurt a lot, too much and the muscles stop contracting properly so you end up with a c-section).
That's literally the only explanation for there being "no pain". she probably just means that she found the pain manageable (and maybe didn't feel the need for drugs at all) whereas some experience a lot more pain. When my first was born, there was a woman in the next room screaming like she was being murdered! I've never heard anything like it. We got quite worried and asked a midwife if there had been a problem, and she said "oh no no, some people are just screamers" ![]() |

I've been in the front seat and seen everything(and i mean everything). It does not look like a pleasant experience at all for woman.I felt proud of my misses after she did that and told her so.Certainly glad i'm not a woman.

I do have to chuckle at all the guys saying how it's not painful - no sadly the man feels no pain at all if they did the human race would have died out by now!!!!

Everyone's different.....my mum had no pain when she had me....just a bit of niggly back ache and then I was here....
When I had my son, it ****ing hurt a lot, but I'm not a screamer and I didn't have any major pain relief - just gas and air - but I kind of enjoyed it...
