Default Kate Thornton not axed from \'X Factor\'

Quote:
Louis Walsh has denied reports suggesting that Kate Thornton will be axed from the next series of X Factor.

The judge has spoken out in support of the 33-year-old presenter, praising her abilities and the support that she gives show contestants.

"You could not have X Factor without Kate - she's the face of the show," Louis told The People. "The contestants all love her and she's so supportive of them. She gives the show more than 100 per cent. I expect there will be another series but I don't see that being without Kate."

A show official confirmed: "It's absolutely not true that Kate's being axed. She's a fantastic presenter. Her talent in running a major live show is unprecedented."
