Yeah. Aaryn was awful to people for no reason. She definitely came in wanting to be the next Dani D or Janelle and thought bitchy would get her there. The racism was all her though.

I'm sure Aaryn has changed her racial comment ways. I've said this before: she's ignorant and immature much more than anything else and did realize how wrong it was in the end. The boos probably solidified that for her but even in her time in the house alone she clearly started to realize that and started to change from beginning to end.

She might say that she's changed and she might not make racial comments anymore, but she hasn't changed. Just at the beginning of this season she tweeted about the crowd cheering her HoH wins, cause she's clearly still trying to justify her comments with other people's approval. Like a little kid saying "they like me, I can't be wrong!" She doesn't think she did anything wrong. She might say it was wrong, but she doesn't think so.

-Candice was a pretty good choice to take out for both her and GM. -Judd's eviction did nothing to hurt her either and there weren't many other ways to go that week without getting a group against her or making a more useless move for her. -Taking Helen out was her big mistake but she chose a side with 3AM, which was good for her, and then got very unlucky I think the next week when Elissa won HOH and failed to take out Amanda after she won POV. She wasn't great but easily above average. A LOT better than most people last season and this season, and a pretty smart strategy that she used after the position she put herself in early on.

And if people are still trying to pretend that Aaryn was just ignorant and didn't know better, remember when she bragged about outing a frat brother as gay just because? Like, her comments were SO explicit and SO frequent that it's clear to me that there was obviously more to it than just ignorance. Yes, Aaryn took the fall for her comments a lot more than others did, but that doesn't make her any less guilty and she doesn't deserve any sympathy for that. Especially considering the fact that she's apparently a BBUS fan, maybe she should've just, I don't know, not said any of those comments?

So now we are at:
Frankie and Aaryn equally deserve(d) boo's upon eviction because their transgressions were similar in manner, although not the same. Furthermore, the boo's will aid them in seeing the error of their ways and prompt them to change.

That was her being ignorant and looking at it as being the way people act in the area she was raised. At the same time, she clearly felt sorry... the reasons are obviously unclear as no one can read a person's mind but she looked and acted sorry for it and was coming to the realization of it being wrong, while in the house a little bit and then especially during that interview when she was told exactly what she said.

Frankie on the other hand is a pretty nasty, bad person who wants to be liked extremely badly yet seriously doesn't care about the way he acts or whose feelings he's hurting. He feels extremely self-entitled, and doesn't truly care about too many others, is the biggest thing IMO.

And if you listen to any of the many interviews Aaryn has had since especially the one she did with Liza from BBCan you can tell she's not a bad person just made some dumb comments.

Obviously part of it comes down to ignorance and insensitivity and whatever else. But that doesn't serve as a blanket excuse for everything and an explanation for Aaryn's despicable behavior. That doesn't explain her bragging about outing someone as gay to their fraternity. That doesn't explain the explicit nature of all of her racist remarks. That doesn't explain the frequency of all of her racist remarks. That doesn't explain her snapping her fingers at a black girl and saying "whatchu gonna doooooo gurlllll" in a tone that's equally derogatory and antagonistic. There's a huge difference between being a sheltered Southern girl and being someone who makes a **** ton of racist and homophobic remarks because they're a malicious and catty person, and that's clearly the kind of person Aaryn is. Just look at the hat incident or the bed flip, she's just a bitch and nothing more.
As for her apologies and "growth," when Amanda tried to warn Aaryn that some of her comments could be perceived as racist, she took no responsibility for her own comments and blamed others for being offended by them, and then tried to turn it around saying that she is the one being discriminated against because she's referred to as Barbie. Oh the struggles of being a pretty white girl! When Amanda brought it up again during the bed flip night, Aaryn put the blame on her and said that her trying to warn her as a friend was ****ed up and she's just trying to stir **** up, and that she never said anything racist. Then when Julie interviewed her, Aaryn was given a chance to address her comments and make a sincere apology. Instead, she just blamed it on the Southerner stereotype and said that everything was taken out of context and just threw in a "oh btw I apologize to anyone I ever offended even though I really shouldn't have " like... that's the furthest thing from a sincere apology and that's no sign of growth. he also decided to throw the 25 million people from the state of Texas under the bus as well.

I'm not going to waste any more time defending her besides this post because you're right on most of that, especially that she's also a catty person (although like many of the females cast on Big Brother).
I've just seen too many people like her; sheltered, spoiled, etc. people that are overall pretty good people but act in ignorance and would change that if they knew any better. She might be a bit of a mean, catty, spoiled girl at times anyway, which are some of her bad qualities but she mostly showed a better, fun side of her as the season went on. A lot of people saw that. Furthermore, people are messed up sometimes. To give a comparison with proof behind it, I've seen people here say some pretty messed up things about Christine, Frankie, & others (like people making fun of their appearance, certain things about them, etc.). You can go in most threads about them, or many other threads, and see that. That doesn't automatically make any of us bad people either, it's just poor taste in comments sometimes that are generally mean but it happens. That's what happened with Aaryn from time to time in that house. Are racial comments where the line is drawn? It shouldn't be because also as I've said and will continue to believe, she's not a racist, it's just mainly ignorance. She's shown many signs of being a spoiled, ignorant person as I even see in some of your own examples... although those examples do show some other negatives but there's just good aspects to her as well that people do like.
