A few weeks ago we heard that Endemol rejected TV3 Ireland's bid to show Celebrity Big Brother.

I've just looked at the Big Brother Auditions website and it asks applicants if they are eligible to reside in the UK or Ireland. Previously this only asked about the UK, not Ireland.

Could this mean they're looking at airing the show in Ireland, probably on MTV, and therefore look to get more Irish applicants?

This could also mean Viacom now have the rights for BB in the UK & Ireland, as opposed to just the UK; which could potentially see the series either sold to an Irish TV channel (like TV3, who need more shows after losing loads to UTVIreland), or it could mean the show will be more promoted on MTV?

Or I could be reading way too much into this.
