Default CBB execs worried

This series has been a massive success as a tv show but a disaster as a production model for Big Brother and this year they are hell bent on changing the way the show is viewed by manipulation.

We are all well aware of their interference by why are they doing it.....simple.....they cant afford another Helen type to win it.

If Hoppo wins there will be outrage, if Perez wins there will be outrage, Even if a dullard wins it, there will be questions so who do they want to win the show.......The obvious answer is Pricey. She ticks all the boxes and so far the edits are showing her up as the nice girl.

They have tried to protect her and even force fed her storylines and she has proved non conflictive. I am beginning to think that this bombshell was planned weeks ago and concerns her. If her x goes in and she wins over the public and all the feminists in the country by rocking him and maybe his girlfriend, Pricey will skate home un challenged and CH5 have a new spin off and loads of street cred.

I don't normally predict without evidence or at least some logic but \I am throwing this out there and I have actually backed Pricey at 7/1 to win back all my losses on Hoppo as insurance, such is my gut feeling of a massive and wholly unfair interference twist by BB prods.

meh I don't think the producers care about who wins, all they care about is keeping the more entertaining HMs in for as long as they can to keep people watching

I beg to differ. they have new owners and want to impress and if they get an average of say 2.5 million viewers this year, the next show they will be expected to get 3 million and with a ****ty winner, they are creating a monster, also why do they meddle if they are not bothered. Do you not think that if they had removed Helens pass last year that she would have won, of course not. Perez is a great tool for viewers but a bad winner as is Hoppo so how the hell can they get pricey in the mix......give her a big storyline.....done deal.

Personally I think its unfair but so is VTS if they are looking for a peoples champion.

mmm maybe, I am a fan of VTS but I get what you're saying about the winner being different if VTE came back, now you mention it maybe it wouldn't be so bad hmmm I'm torn though, it's like a better series by going with VTS V's a better winner going with VTE I'm still one of those people that prefer to have a nice winner rather than an entertaining nasty one (of course what I think is nice may not be the same as other people )

I wouldnt be surprised tbh, KP has been quiet too long playing the nice girl and then all of a sudden wham she comes alive. She is a business woman. What I cannot understand though is why do the powers that be have to do it. Why do they pay everyone else to go in, use them and then destroy any hope they have of winning.

Look at what they did for Helen, that was completely staged. There were quite a lot of people involved in that, betting on her right from when she was a no hoper. I listened to a programme which Chris was part of and was quite amazed at what he was told. The interviewer was quite proud that a culmination of many had got together to get the favourite out and then in comes all the old HMs and that was it.......

I still say that it is all about money, how has it been placed?

I think KP was genuine when saying she had entered the house to make friends not indulge in conflict. So would have no need of storylines.KH senses an opportunity to exploit this but if she goes to far and it comes to a face off then my money would be on KP.I loved the way that she informed KH that she had her job at the Sun.It was delivered in a dismissive and derogatory been there done it way and was most effective.

I agree with the OP Katie P would be the best winner as far as BB goes, the vanilla option. I think the key will be how the edit goes over the next three days. If you see lots of KP vs KH then the writing in on the wall. Also I can see the Perez/Nadia/Keith vote transferring to KP. Katie H is unlikely to pick up any more support at this point but KP can only go up.

The weekend edit will be very interesting, at 7/1 I will certainly be putting a few quid on a KP win.

I can't vote unfortunately but as a Perez/Nadia/Keith fan I can say this will more than likely be the case for me

i think if one of KH or Perez make it to the final two, whoever they are up against will pick up a load of votes as it becomes almost like a vote to evict, and also much more cost effective for the voter. Why vote for 3 other people to remove kh now for example when you can have the same effect voting for one when it gets to the final two.

Nobody in the house is as bad as Helen. I don't care who wins.

I disagree that the producers are worried at all or care one bit about the winner.

All they care about is ratings and revenue.

In fact this is the first season on 5 where we have received quite a few press packs solely about how happy they all are with the series.

Agree, they are chasing ratings and revenue. I said this days ago on another thread.

Legend! I can see exactly what you mean. I think KH has picked up on a master stroke coming her way courtesy of KP and Big Bro. In last nights show, Hopkins looked deflated, as though she knew she was fighting a losing battle when KP suddenly formed an actual opinion. And she was basing that "opinion" on things that had already been said face-to-face between her and Hopkins. KP seemed to clutch at straws for a reason to fall out, and Hopkins seemed to notice this. Maybe she noticed that the Producers' "Master Plan" was coming together, and it involved KP. No point fighting it, when it all comes down to the edit.

Here comes Katie Price "the girl next door" character, the "underdog" to rise through the ranks that CBB have cleared for her. They didn't pay her the highest fee for nothing. Watch this space for a new Katie Price: CBB Winner 'reality' TV series. Hosted by Channel 5 no doubt

I don't know...wasn't the world supposed to fall down, viewership will go down, CBB would be over, and on and on ... if Jim Davidson won?

Well, he won and it didn't...CBB went on...and here we are.

If Perez, Hopkins or even Kav win...they'll be some bitching, but everyone will just move on to the next one.

I would say Hopkins comes a close second to Helen. How that **** won is beyond me but then again no idea how this **** Hopkins is still in.

Unfortunately I have to agree, I swore I would never watch another series again after Helen won....but I mean it this time lol!

I think I might actually be disgusted enough that this new "format" of CBB (changing all the rules in order to do whatever it takes to manipulate the votes/ratings/exposure at the cost of fairness of the game) and the fact that it appears to be a format that is going to stay from now on, will hopefully be enough to "cure" me of my BB viewing habits.

Don't get me wrong, I will watch until the end of this series because I'm human and I want to see how it plays out after all the drama. But next series, knowing that BB is such a blatant fix, I'll be abstaining from BB's circus.

if cbb really cared about who wins thy wouldn't case the people they did, Alicia, perez, KH, KP all had potential to cause furor....before the series started. They cast s*** stirrers for a reason. this is what they want, we're talking about it and watching because of it

Without Perez it would be a borefest. The viewing figures aren't even outing last years series.
