Default The ultimate dilemma?

I'm sorry for another poll, but this one will be interesting to see where people vote.

If you was the PM of the UK and you was told that you had to legalize one of native murder, paedophilia, rape, and terrorism, which one would you pick? Or would you take the bullet? Well as I wouldn't want to die and for some reason sex crimes really effect me quite a lot, I think I would vote for native murder as I can sometimes understand the motive behind what they've done.

Poll will be coming shortly.

Native murder is basically murder from UK citizens compared to terrorism which I've made as a worldwide option.

And resigning wouldn't be an option as you would be being held hostage by someone with a gun.

I would take the bullet. I would have run for PM knowing I'd have to put my people before anything else and if anything as ridiculous as this ever happened, I'd stay true to my words.

well being a paedophile is, as far as I'm aware, legal, but acting upon it isn't, so I would vote that on a technicality...

Probably rape because nobody dies and it does'nt affect kids.Seems like the least bad option to me.None of them are nice.

i don't see what legalizing has to do with any of those things. all decent people would never do those things, and all evil people will do them whether it's legal or not.

I wouldn't want to be the leader of any country that could ever think of legalising anything on that list.

Murder, because of what Alex said above. Murders are either carried out by people who are mentally unhinged, or are crimes of passion where anger has overwhelmed someone and they've snapped. It's not murder being "illegal" that stops people from killing each other... A normal person on a normal day just has no compulsion to kill. It's not really "in us". You can see this in the trauma that many soldiers etc. face after making their first (completely "legal") kill... It has a profound effect even then.

Of course you could then say, with it being legal there would be murderers roaming the street because they wouldn't be locked up. But there's a convenient loophole there. If murder is legal, then vigilante justice / revenge killings are legal. So if there's some psychopathic killer roaming about, the friends and family of those killed can hunt him down and tear him to pieces. It's legal!

Yes but they would have been murdered anyway... Murders are committed by crazies or by people who have suddenly snapped (or, I suppose, by organised criminals). None of those people care in that moment about whether it's legal or not. "legal" only matters afterwards.
