James has posted a new TiBB frontpage article.

Channel 5 have said, that for the first time, they will be revealing the housemates for the new series of Big Brother before the launch show.

There will be a 48 hour countdown between Friday and Sunday, at the end of which all the housemates for Tuesday's launch show will be.....

yeah i've decided i'm not going to look at all, otherwise the launch will be crap

not here for me blanking the spoilers out for 2 days then they put pictures of them all on screen within the first 3 minutes of the launch though...

The launch show is hard work enough the only good bit is the first impressions as they are introduced.

I suppose it's a good way of generating interest - it shows they've got a lot of faith in the cast. But still, way to make it feel like a structured reality show.

This is not the first time in Big Brother history - I remember seeing a two-page spread on the new Housemates in Big Brother 2 before the first show aired. Obviously they had already gone into the house by that point as they didn't do live launches back then, but it definitely had their official press shots and bios in the newspaper.
