Default I don't like jade but Nick is blatently only doing this for one reason.
If they were close as nick says all the time why would he jump ship like this?
Hes blatently only jumping ship because the rest of the house hates Jade that says alot about Nick imo.

Yeah true, I'm not a fan of Jade either but imo the way he started bitching about her to Harriet about her was really out of order for someone who he's apparantly closest to in there

Exactly my thoughts. He disappointed me tonight.

Jade has really annoyed me as of late, but Nick's been a really shoddy friend in this whole situation. Everyone in there is acting like Jade hypnotised him, so he has a convenient excuse to jump ship.

I think it's more that his eyes have been opened. At first he admits he was flattered that someone like her paid attention to him. But he's beggining to realise that Jade is a 'smotherer' and this is isolating him from the others. Before he and Jade got close he had a good friendship with Joel and some of the others, but Jade seems to be a possesive sort, who wants that person all to herself.
Notice in tonight's show that she started being touchy feely with Cristian, who she seems to have ignored up to this point.

Nick is a cringe-making saddo, love- struck, little boy who has never been as close to pussy since a cat sat on his lap.
