Default Bored by the structured drama

Another Marc insulting and being an arsehole, another oh look Harry is naked.

All this drama injection is being shoved with a spoon down our throat.
Marc being OTT nasty and rude, trying to wind up hms intentionally, putting to much effort in creating friction, provocative for the sake of it - it's not natural, there's no actual natural developing of the group.
There can be a divide, there can be vile housemates, it's been done perfectly before, but not just out of nowhere without an apparent reason and plot chronology.
I think that villains and conflicts are good for BB plot-wise, but they just gave it to fast for nothing just because we suppose to like it, it's like that meme of "yo dawg".
There hasn't been one episode since 4in4out that Marcus is not warning us with "as time goes by be prepared for CONFRONATIONSSS, SEXUALLLL THEMES, NUDITYYY". you don't say.

I was actually watching last night with a "oh, that again, do I need to be amused or something?" face.
It's becoming to obvious. Even Eileen got bored with Marc's antics.

I think that the newbies have been put in there to create drama and you cannot deny they have done that. Marq has gained a lot of support over a short period of time but I cannot see it lasting unless he tones it down. I have seen a lot of comments today about getting bored with him already, change the tune etc. His antics are only going to be " entertaining" for so long. There is only so much stripping off, being crude and offensive to people etc that you can do before it becomes "oh no not again". The only card he hasn't played is the showmance resulting in sex on national TV but that is a work in progress by the look of the clips today.

Perhaps they have a journey for him and he will turn into a nice guy and fall in love with a down to earth type girl such as chloe.

You never know, although I wouldn't call Chloe a down to earth girl after seeing the way she can rant recently.

They built the later series on a foundation of shit. There's no genuine interaction or substance whatsoever. Years ago they started using tactics to spice up the show, but now it's all tactics with nothing under it.

Agreed. I'm one of the few people on here that happen to like the controversial characters and doesn't mind when there are loads of friction and arguments, but everything so far has been so forced and fake and it doesn't feel natural at all.

Plus every episode has been the same this week. Marc saying something offensive or disgusting, Nick and Harry flirting, Chloe arguing about the same thing, Eileen saying something odd, and then everyone else in the background being boring as ****. I'm shocked people are finding this entertaining, but whatever. There's nothing I could do about that.

Alternatively.... Watch it, but do so with a critical eye and make a fair judgement. Like most people do. Apparently people must never be critical of anything and spend the entirety of their time thinking only poistive thoughts. No wonder the art of criticism is dying.

Was always gonna happen really.

Actually think Marc has more than being a 1 trick pony anyway.

It's not like HMs haven't admitted they're there to liven things up.
So they should draw a line under it and go off in a new direction.

Task team need to show more creativity for staters by thinking outside the box.
If they're too boring, set them a task to talk interestingly.
If they're lazy, set them a task to out-perform each other
etc etc

Re-invented ideas like secret rooms help but it's still based on arguments.
We all like a bit of conflict but HMs talking about each other isn't the only way.

I would give each HM a secret choice to either nom or help win a shopping budget for the team.
We'd see who thinks they're in danger and who the teamplayers really are.

I dont know how structured it is we have no way of knowing anymore but you are right to suspect it being that way.
The only thing i know is that this is a ****ing awful excuse of a series of BB It doesnt even resemble the format of the show it is low class trash which is all C5 seem capable of.

All this "yeah, but they were boring" excuses are wrong.
As I mentioned, I don't have problem with having a villain entering the house and stirring, I think it's necessary... but come on, even the ones I've hated had some reasoning to their behaviour - Marc is just a manufactured villain engineered by recipe, no depth in there, no true motives, 24/7 on the same frequency, screaming "I'm a dick, but at least I'm honest" to justify himself (oldest trick in the book).

I think we should all just come to terms with the fact that Channel 5 has shat all over the show, and be done with it.

they have to keep the show alive. if they returned to a twist free season we'd all be complaining about the cancellation of the show.

Loads of people go into bb to be a complete dick, doesnt mean theyre a plant just means they want to create a character for the public's entertainment. Look at Makosi she was basically the most fakest manufactured housemate ever, she planned getting pregnant in the pool the whole time, yet I and others like her
