Watch GoT. Walking dead is a decent show. GoT is one of the best ever. Or just watch WD and read the GoT books?

Far more details in the books. The first few seasons of the show are pretty much the exact same as the books but now the show is kind of branching out from it. Honestly i'd read the books first and then watch the show, i wish i did that tbh.

TWD is mostly trash. It has it's bright spots but it became a victim of it's own success in Season 3.

GOT has been consistently good throughout, the latest season is a bit a slow starter but it's still miles better than most things on TV atm.

This thread is like Sophie's Choice - I love both. GoT is better acted and generally better made. On the other hand I have a serious boner for anything post-apoc. Also, I don't think I've ever been bored by a TWD episode whereas GoT, though few, does have a couple of very slow ones. Dunno. Can't choose

Yeah, that's how I feel really. Of course, GOTs has better characters, a better story line etc etc but I just really enjoy TWD as well

I guess it's not much of a choice, they're completely different shows in almost every way other than both being quite violent and I suppose both at the core being about human nature... The with most politics stripped away, GoT with the politics overwhelming everything. No need to choose really we should just be happy that such great shows (and a multitude of others) all coexist peacefully these days. It's not that long ago that there were really NO TV shows at all approaching the level of quality, with acting and production, that's common these days.
