Default He didn't take being nominated well did he?

A bit of his real character came through there I think.

I can imagine being nominated is a bit of a punch in the gut. At least he wasn't trying to be all macho like "bring it on" and "I knew it"

Hardly any HM's have taken it well this series. It's really annoying.

I can only remember Sarah not giving a ****.

He got nominated for being friendly to the newbies. Jack made the worst excuse ever to nominate him, yet he moaned like a fat git at Simon.

Complete hypocrite.

Few have taken nominations well,I do think when you get nominated for something you haven't actually done with intention to do so, then it must irritate you.

I was glad he pulled Jack up on his reasoning,to be fair to Jack, he was left with only people he had really liked.

just as anyone nominating has the right to do so in any way they choose, equally, those nominated have every right to to react too with whatever feelings they have as to the nomination.

I thought reading about it on here, that Joel had really kicked off, which he in no way did.
I actually think he made valid points, although he did, being honest, go on a bit too long about it all.

Jacks reason (well dannys and Christians reasons as Jack is just their mouthpiece nowadays) that Joel got in with timewarp guys is so ill thought out its ridiculous.

For a start it glosses over how Danny and Christian like Brian apparently that doesnt count. And it also ignores that a far safer way to avoid nomination would be to avoid marc and helen like the plague as they are disliked by majority and make him and easy target. If his plan was to avoid befriending them was the worst thing you could do

I disagree with this I would be them same it wasn't that he didn't take it well, he didn't feel the reasons were justified which they weren't clearly by Jacks awkward squirming and inability to validate his reasons for nominating Joel and just kept saying 'I had to say the reason.'

At least he didn't do a Harry and go in hiding for three days complaint of having a head ache, stomach ache and every other ****ing ache under the sun

Harry's nomination when the 2 legends and Mark and Helen was a totally different situation. It was basically Mark being as poisonous to her as he could by getting Helen on side and attacking her personality and realness.

In the BB house it's always been about numbers and there's pretty much always a divide with two sides against each other so in that situation loyalty to your friends (whether the friendships are genuine or just in-house) is really, really important.
Nobody would have minded Joel mixing but he went much further than that and let Mark get inside his head and use him to the max. It's made it very clear what a weak mind Joel has and how easily he has been manipulated by Mark.
That thing with Joel's mummy kissing Mark was such an obvious ploy by her to put Mark in a position where he couldn't possibly nominate her little boy without looking bad but Joel is such a wet sap (and probably so used to his Mummy running his life) that it went completely over his head and he just thinks that his Mother thinks Mark is a top bloke!

He's basically a little turncoat weasel who's very easily manipulated!!!!

A turncoat did you watch from week 1??

Danny, christian and Jack at one point all slagged him off for being fake. They are just butthurt. They did same to jade when new 4 came in suddenly liked her to make a bigger group to protect themselves cause their proper mates all got voted out.

What a joke turncoat they never liked him from start

Joel admitted that he spent more time with the 'time warp' housemates. He didn't do that when Marc Harry Sam and Simon came in...I don't remember him giving them the time of day.
No problem getting to know them...but Marc and Helen were all over Joel like a rash and he loved it. He gave his former housemates a wide berth.
I would have had more respect if in accepting he gave them more time he could have been big enough to apologise to his former mates for ignoring them. None of the former housemates did anything other than be his friend. He just dropped them like a ton of bricks because he was in awe of the feisty characters that he didn't have the balls to challenge. He threw himself at their mercy because they told him he was doing well and could win.

What the former HMs who were lining up to start voting for him prior to 4 in 4 out twist.

He was the next on their list after they offed Adjoa and anyone with a memory knows it. Him and Jade would have been next up, you know Joel and Jade who Danny miraculously befriended when his real mates all got booted out, cause remember Christian wasnt popular either. Amazing what booting out someones mates will do, he found some other willing mugs and befriended them instead to protect himself.

Danny has done this since the twist Joel was never his mate, or christians. Arguable Jack Nik and Joel had the most genuine friendships in their from the start but Jack is a gossipy little bitch

If the others slagged him off for being fake it's hardly surprising. Joel told Marc what he thought of his behaviour when he first came into the house. Defending Chloe for being attacked and telling Marc his comments to Sam were below the belt. Then suddenly when Marc and Helen come back and tell Joel they have his back...he ditches his former mates and arse licks his new buddies. No wonder the others might have slagged him off.
Joel's a turncoat and his mother thanking Marc for looking after her lickle baby was pathetic....nobody ever did anything against him up until he ditched them in awe of the two that told him what he wanted to hear.
Joel was easy meat for them to get him under their wing along with Simon and Sam to help attack what they saw as a 'clique'...just 4 people who got along. Those four never ostracised Joel.

Exactly I would have said that Cristian was one of his best friends in there prior to the bunker housemates. There are numerous clips of them together having fun. That is why he was so disappointed when Joel dropped him.
As for that mother of his the less said the better.

It shows just how unaware Joel is that he still thinks Nikki was just being friendly and genuinely wanted to go out for a drink when in reality she was insinuating that she thinks he's gay and making a joke of it to the nation without including him in it!
If Mark and Helen were such genuinely good friends to Joel why wouldn't they tell Joel that Nikki was making a joke of him at his expense ?
I really couldn't ever see Cristian, Danny, Jack or Nick treating him like that.

He was giving Jack a taste of his own medicine, Joel took being nominated the first time extremely well, but Jack has reacted badly each time he's been nominated for apparently 'poor reasons' and he's quick to question someone on it, but obviously didn't like the same being done to him, once again proving how much of a hypocrite he is

load of bull, Jack had to nominate someone and hew admitted he didn't have a reason to nominate anyone of available people, to which Joel kept whining how it wasn't a good reason. Yeah, cause there was no reason at all, would he prefer if there was a reason? Kid is so obnoxious and dumb, I can't believe people are buying his "TV host" persona as a personality

Whatever reason Jack gave he was on a hiding to nothing as Joel had already set things up to enable one of his "speeches". He had said to Nick if he does not give a valid reason I will be annoyed.

For most of the show I have liked Joel but the pompous behaviour is now becoming irritating.

It appears to me that this whole tag noms has been implemented to create more pressure and friction which has worked but surely now some kind of twist coming.?

He is a spoilt little boy who no doubt is still being breastfed from his mother's ample milk store.
