I live in London, and the heat is unbearable. It's like 33 degrees, and it's not even sunny.

There's no breeze, just roasting hot air. I love hot weather when there's also breeze, but I hate the humidity and stuffiness that today's heat has.

And it's been like this all day. I dread to think how tonight is going to be like. I took a cold shower earlier, and it was lovely. But once I got out, I was sweating within about ten minutes. I don't remember 2006 and 2013 being like this. In fact, I loved the 2006 and 2013 heatwaves.

I love autumn. I think that's the best season of the year. Breezy October evenings. Not too hot, not too cold, with the sound of golden leaves skittering amongst the streets.

It's different when you're on holiday though because you have prepared for it and can relax. At home we need to go around doing things like go to work, and stuff and the clothes we have to wear just aren't suitable
