Default Biggest LGBT right's campaigners - who?
I was just thinking to myself about the black rights movement and how clear names pop out to you.. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks...

but then when you think of the gay rights movement I don't know any activists who actually stand out in the same way.

Are there any that stand out, in your opinion?

The only thing is though, the way we look back on the black rights movement now they are remembered.. I'm not sure if in 50 years time paris lees or michelle visage etc would be found in the history textbooks.

I'd only really say that's because a lot of campaigning's been done on the part of celebrities who're already famous for other means. Not to mention the demographics affected by civil rights movements for women or black people were obviously much bigger.

Peter Tatchell's the one I know the most and he's done a hell of a lot for the LGBTQ/I community.

He did a lecture at my uni earlier this year and it was really good
