I understood the reason behind Marc's fanbase, but honestly, all he brought to the house (excluding week 1) was arguments.
Helen won too so I'd imagine some people do find arguments entertaining, are you one of these people? There isn't much I find less entertaining than a 5 minute argument about who said what when to who and why. In my eyes, a great housemate left when Marc stopped being fun and started being a dick but the house has lost nothing but arguments if the recent side to him is anything to go by.

When they occur naturally and are not forced by production or their pets (Marc)

Sometimes, mostly when there's a reason behind the argument other than 'we're all dickheads'

I used to be the same.. Back when an argument happened maybe 3 times a week on c4. 3 times an episode on c5 is so draining to me.

Not the amount that Channel 5 ram down our throats. They need to find the right balance between drama and fun.

It beats them snoozing all day and patting one another on the back

Not going to vote on this. When needed, arguments are necessary.

Sometimes, but I prefer a mix of fun and arguments tbh. And natural arguments beat the manufactured crap we get now hands down

Yes when they're natural and spaced out periodically throughout the series in between nice, funny episodes. The biggest reason why I hated CBB in January by the end of the season - that month was draining.

They can be and other times they can't. all depends on the circumstances i guess.

I think we all do. That's why we watch. So I didn't answer.
None of us watch to see the "happy house" or "pow pow" obviously. Somewhere in between. |

Sometimes it's the only way we see what the housemates are really like.
If they lose their temper then they tend to forget their game plan. |

The poll needs a sometimes option.

How can you determine when an argument is natural?
You pick and choose to suit your favourite/hated, yes? Last edited by Lampfan; 03-07-2015 at 10:12 PM. |

This series has been so controlled and manipulated by the production team. I prefer to see natural interactions, but as a society we're becoming conditioned for high drama, it's almost as if the production team seem to think that they know what the viewers want, and therefore go out of their way to interfere and manipulate and this spoils the viewing pleasure of a natural BB. But then i guess people may get bored of a natural BB, hence the reason for interference, i guess we're too conditioned now to enjoy a normal BB |

I love random ones over what seems like nothing, and between people who don't usually argue

Only when they're natural and not forced down our throats by thirsty producers. As they have been for the past two years.

I love a good argument - when it's well argued, rather than a bout of gainsaying - but I do agree that the production team made a bad decision when they elected to send some 'legends' in from previous series.
I mean, do they really think that sending in fishwives like Aisleyne, skunks like Jasmine & Charley and nutters like Brian and Nikki is going to do anything other than cause a series of slanging matches? |
