Big Brother producers may have done a good thing this year...they did 4 in 4 out.....and the reason its good is that it has changed the landscape of how future housemates nominate in the early weeks of the show....no longer is it a safe bet to nominate the strong characters...no longer is it safe to assume that those nominated will face the public vote....its a more open playing field that may just give the (intelligent) public a chance to evict the boring ones early on in the game...then just maybe we can have a final thats more like an explosion instead of a bad night in the morgue....you only have to look at the thread on here of peoples favourite past house mates to see how many of the pervious winners don't get a mention.......Channel 5 need to do some tweaking to this years format but it was def a step in the right direction.....the old format is tired and plays into the hands too easily of viewers who don't understand the concept of the show...this year BB tried to take back control from the housemates, who are there to abuse the show, but yet again the majority voters f-cked it up.....maybe some of next years housemates won't find it so easy to abuse the system because the producers have made the system less predictable.

Would have been better if Cristian, Danny, Chloe and Jack had been the 4out.

Actually it was Four in, FIVE out.
Amy and Sally (twins), Kieran, Sarah and Harriet. It was a bit stupid. Neither of the five 'deserved' to go and were kicked out not because they had done anything wrong, but because BB felt like it. It would make any housemate feel like they were cheated, after trying for many years to get on the show. |

It might have worked if they were all up, but certainly not the way it was done, unfair and incredibly manipulative.
Most idiotic twist ever. Last edited by Calderyon; 19-07-2015 at 01:32 PM. |

Remembering Kerry
|
Not for me, Marc should have been in from the start, the rest really didn't need to be in at all.
For me that, and the ridiculous double farce of evicting Simon in the first show too, then returning him in the 4 in 4 out nonsense, made it even more pointless. Awful twist for me and I hope it is never repeated. |

In principle it was a good idea, if it got rid of the dead wood, and the 4 replacements in total did offer much more than those that got the boot.
If they had cast it properly in the beginning, it wouldn't have been needed of course |

It was badly produced but the 4 in housemates were miles better than the 4 out ones.

Harriet and Danny would have stayed so it wouldn't have been a good idea
Amy & Sally > Simon and Kieran > Marc, but Harry >>>>> Harriet and Sam >>>>> Sarah |

I didn't like Marc much but he was more entertaining than Kieran ever was. I loved the twins but I didn't miss them when they were gone. Harry and Sam were amazing additions and sacrificing Harriet and Sarah for them was perfect. But I didn't like the way it was produced.

Exactly. I don't know why they had the tacky spinny thing in the garden... A quadruple eviction (see BB11) would've been fine.

Losing Sarah and gaining Sam is nearly enough to excuse the rest of the evictions that happened that night.

At the time of 4 in 4 out Eileen, Jade, Nick and Aaron were the strongest housemates yet were all up for eviction ....Danny, Chloe and Christian were invisible yet only Christian was up for eviction...and the only reason they came to life after was because Marcs arrival provided them with a platform to get noticed Next year the housemates may not be able to guess what BB are gonna do.... it may keep the strong ones in a bit longer.... |

True, you're right the gimmicks were irrelevant...but a shake up was needed..i think BB have a right to try and protect the bigger characters....in ideal world it should be totally the public but the public never ever play the game properly...this years final was the pitts

It was awful and killed what had the potential to be a great series.

oh fack off

4in4out is the reason the series fell apart, I thought it would and it did. Granted I still enjoyed it but not nearly as much as I was in the early weeks when it felt C4
It was a shambolic desperate mess of a twist that didn't need to happen. Firstly a quadruple eviction under a vote to evict is grounds for a disaster (see: BB11) and has series ruining potential, if they'd wanted it to go ahead it should've been a vote to save with the whole house up and who knows we might've lost some irrelevant bores including Chloe which would've stopped her winning. Instead they flipped the noms around to save Jade who only went on to fade into the background for the next few weeks anyway. Putting the newbies in was fine, all that needed to happen was a regular single eviction and then we could've seen how the series developed with the housemates that were already there and making things unfold nicely in the early weeks, and be treated to Harriet, the twins and Sarah vs Marc, them all vs Helen and perhaps Simon might've had more of a purpose as well. It was the beginning of the end for BB16. And I'm so sad that we'll never get to see how it could've unfolded properly had it not happened. |

No it wasn't. 4 In 4 Out was the main reason BB16 was so bad. It got rid of potentially entertaining housemates and ruined the dynamics that had been developing throughout the first couple of weeks. It also brought in Marc who is essentially ruined the series further by uniting the house against him with his annoying antics.
