Remembering Kerry
|
He has actually never really said he didn't on many things.
Many weeks ago now he said he could work with Jeremy, the only one to do so and Andy himself too is in favour at least of re-nationalising the railways. Andy, is amiable, he can work with anyone and he and Jeremy could actually be a pretty good team. Andy is an inclusive and consensus politician. It doesn't really surprise me that he has some respect for Jeremy Corbyn and that he acknowledges the fact Jeremy has invigorated this leadership campaign, and brought a great deal to it too. Nothing wrong at all with agreeing with others, that is in my view, far better than sniping at each other most of the time when in the end you all have to be colleagues fighting a common cause to get rid of this govt. |

I care,so added my view. However , if you as a Conservative strong voter, want Jeremy Corbyn, that would send alarm bells ringing for me and since you want none of the others then that helps my decision a little. I believe Andy or Yvette could tear chunks out of this govt Also too, were Jeremy to win it, then I think the way he has conducted himself in this campaign a lot of voters would be impressed with how he would take this govt on too. Conservatives may want Jeremy to win but I have the feeling they could find this backfires bigtime on them too. Last edited by joeysteele; 18-08-2015 at 03:31 PM. |

I only disagree in that I don't see Andy as tory lite really,I do think Andy has a good vision for the party too. In fact I have said it many times,I would have liked to see Andy Burnham get this in 2010 over 'both' the Miliband brothers. I love his vision and passion for the NHS. Hmmm Burnham is on the Corbyn bandwagon, hoping to salvage a few votes by riding his coat tails is how I see it.
I too like the stark comparison of 'Corbynesque' Labour and the conservatives, of late it has felt the two were almost indistinguishable.

A definite win for Jeremy Corbyn here,he stsuck to the points and stayed calm.
Have to say, I do still agree with Andy Burnham too,it is actually a pity,(for me anyway), there couldn't be a Corbyn/Burnham as leader and deputy leader or vice versa. I think together in those roles, they could be a formidable team. |
