Default The best video game storylines?






Mainly because all three manage to strike an emotional chord and have in depth and well written characters.



Metal Gear Solid in general has excellent storylines, MGS in 1998 really changed the landscape in how a game can present it's story.



The dialogue may suffer from EarlyResidentEvilitis and the voice acting is trash but the core storyline of SH2 is sensational and it really pushed the boundaries back when it was released.

Haven't finished TLOU but I'm sure it's up there.

I really enjoyed the Fallout 3 storyline. And most of the mass effect ones. Arkham series is pretty extensive and wide ranging too

The Shinra and Turks storyline in FFVII is probably my favourite, i was massive on the whole Sephiroth and Centra story as well but the history of The Turks and their role in the events of Crisis Core and before crisis always intrigued me more

MGS3 has got to be up there as well just for the Eva twist at the end after Big Boss spent the night simping her
