I can understand people not wanting to travel to Paris at the moment, and school trips to France being cancelled, but there also seems to be a lot of people not wanting to go into London, I heard several callers to a radio station this morning say this as well as a women on the news last night though she seemed to think she is perfectly safe at some market in Birmingham where she was interviewed

Personally I will go about my business as normal as I think an attack can be carried out anywhere and I'm not about to restrict what I do, so have you cancelled plans?

No, (not that I had any) I'd imagine now is probably a safer time to go because everyone is much more vigilant , security would be everyone's top priority

No but I wasn't going anywhere anyway. My nephew and his g/f are supposed to be going to Paris next weekend though and my sister in law is trying to get him to cancel

I was in London at the time the tubes were hit by bombs. Going to London on the days that followed the attack was a very surreal experience, people were literally pretty close to crapping it.

If the trips are unnecessary, I wouldn't be doing them at the present time.

I wasn't going anywhere really but we have been planning on going to Edinburgh Christmas Markets this weekend, these are huge and very crowded and I'll be honest and say that thoughts did enter my head about how that's exactly the kind of place that could be a target for attack.

Then I suppose that kind of thing is exactly what these terrorists want.

both my girls were in London duing 7/7 and were about to go on the tube when I first heard about a bus bomb so i quickly phoned the in-laws and got my Father-in-law.

They had actually lefty the house but then half way to the tube my FIL realised he had left his wallet so ran back, he arrived just as I called and I was able to stop them getting on a tube for central london!
