Been reading alot of comments on FB about the Jeremy/Steph thing, so many people excusing Jeremy and blaming everything on Steph. Things like, "she's putting it out there, you can't blame him, he's a man after all" and "I feel sorry for Jeremy and Sam, they should run from that cheat"

Obviously Steph is mostly at fault but Jeremy deserves zero sympathy, he was well aware she had a b/f and if the genders were switched I bet it would play out differently.

I suddenly had flash backs to Hazel and Daleys series, most of the hate was towards Hazel for being a homewrecker. Will the world ever even up for this s**t?

Totally agree that it's double standards but Steph is the one in a relationship.
He tried to tell her to back off but she just would not accept it.
She seems so desperate it's pathetic.
SHE is the one cheating not him.
But yes, I do think it's unfair that he seems to be getting away with it.

Yeah agree that she's worse but do you remember the Daley/Hazel time, she was definitely more hated on than Daley (even after the incident) and there she was single and he was in a relationship and he told her that he wasn't in a relationship too (eventhough she probably knew he was lying but still, Steph has never denied being in one so there's no confusion at all for Jeremy)

It makes me think of Chantelle and Preston. Pretty much exactly the same situation on the face of it from what I recall but with the genders switched. (Especially the 'non-celebrity' aspect ) And Preston was really popular, I'm sure he didn't receive even a fraction of the criticism Steph is getting. And Chantelle of course ended up winning. So it is a bit odd. But maybe the reason Steph is getting as much criticism as she is, isn't just because of what she's doing and the fact she has a boyfriend, but because of her general behaviour and attitude regarding it. For example, the fact that she keeps blaming other people and Big Brother. And also that their relationship doesn't look genuine, whereas the Chantelle/Preston relationship did. So there are probably other factors other than just gender imo.

I remember that well.
The woman always comes off worse in these situations.
Look at Scotty, he is seen as a typical lad for bedding so many women but if a woman confessed to this she would be called a slag & much worse.
The one in a relationship is clearly cheating but the other one has to take responsibility too.

I agree and Jeremy has chosen too to ignore all the talks and advice given by Scotty to him.

Really she should be the main one backing off but he should just say, ''you have a boyfriend, you are in a relationship,I'm not interested'', too.

Yeah it is double standard from a lot of people, but she is the one in a relationship. I have seen people on DS fuming that Jeremy isn't getting equal blame, or even more blame...apparently he should resist temptation but she shouldnt...its all rather ridiculous.

Funny thing is, if Stephanie would stop going on about how much she supposedly loves her boyfriend, noone would even give a **** anymore. Its her own fault. I don't particularly care that she is cheating...it happens. What I do care about is her being ridiculous about it

Both Steph and Jeremy are to fault the funny thing about this storyline is that Steph went in to change public perception but she hasnt.

mmhhmm, actions speak louder than words. You don't treat the person you love with such callousness. If all this scenario is actually genuine and not just some plot concocted by their agent, then she's a horrible bitch, not only cheating on her b/f but doing it knowing that he's actually watching
