The civilian /Z list mix is pointless in terms of a true civilian winning now even if they are entertaining, interesting, witty and fun.

If a HM has no public/media profile prior to entering BB, then they will have relatively few followers on social media which means they won't have a captive army of voters and Z list pals mobilising their followers to vote for their pal.

The producers take their cues and leads from social media now so if a BB story is popular on twitter they will show more of it on HL SHOW. During last CBB the twitter viewers were obsessed by Stephanie and Jeremy love triangle with her boyfriend Sam, so that got pushed to forefront whilst I saw the Gemma v John story, Tiff's tyranny, Nancy's selfish diva ways, Jeremy's ambiguous sexuality towards an uncomfortable Scotty T as more interesting. These things rarely made the HL show.

There are hardly any hms without a social media profile but a couple of them are pretty anonymous in terms of having any type of profile and stand zero chance of winning, not just as they lack a twitter army and Z list pals with an even bigger twitter army, but because they won't get a look in on HL show as they are not Instagramm worthy which is how producers set their agendas now.

I know, it's really disappointing and very unfair, some of them are starting at an almost impossible disadvantage. It's totally not in the spirit of what Civilian BB is supposed to be

Chloe didn't have any media background but she won I do agree that the minor celebs have an immediate advantage

Yeah probably the thing I hate most about CBB has now been carried into BB Surely Alex is very likely to win with the outside support he'll get from Vicky Pattinson.

Chloe won for various reasons

1 lack of any competition, all her rivals fizzled out eg witty Nick, handsome Christian was a bore, Marc was too nasty, even his fans turned against him
2 last year's house didn't have nearly as many wannabes, social media *****s and reality TV rejects
3 she was the only female left, not threatening to female voters, played the girl next door card to perfection and mobilised enough support from old school fans

Completely agree. But thankfully it's vote to evict and not vote to save, meaning it is possible for the 'bigger' names to be booted out
