Default Sudden twists, cover ups and other producer manipulations

Given how C5 have run things in past with cover ups and announcing twists to save favoured housemates (eg Marq last year having another week of immunity for no reason, housemates secretly leaving the house, and BB11 the weird episode that was just a "previously" recap and Jay Mackray's poo in freezer debacle), i thought I'd start a thread to consolidate all the notions or suspicions that the producers are blatently being extremly devious. There are the obvious manipulations like the houesmate connections but the producers have covered their @rses by making it part of tne show.

Why didn't the producers have Emma announce the "nominated" housemates would not actually be evicted (rather go next door) prior to the nominations?

Had Chelsea and Andy been up for eviction I am not sure the producers would have done this twist as they might not have fitted the " sexy young singletons" bb agenda.
