...so one of the things that Ben and I have chatted about in the last few days is the time absorbing part of Most Loved/of doing it...I really have enjoyed it so much, I mean there couldn't be a better job.... but I can now see why the single ladies have always done it because there is no most loved in families and Mr A's with it all because there is so much involved... at Christmas time with other commitments, I just wouldn't be able to do it or do it any justice at all because it's such a busy family/friends time for me..there are options with that of keeping it at that time and me asking someone else to do that one and I'll do that if it's the much preferred thing or we could have one a year is another thing..?...or, as this one was August, I would be able to do the next in February (Valentine Love) instead of December, which would be the 6 month and half way mark...?....so really I'm asking you all on your preferred thoughts etc...


..the other thing is, how would people feel about having a second round vote of more than 10 members and increasing it to 12 or 15 or whatever...?...(I know whatever number it is, it'll still restrict but.....)...if that's also a preferred thing then I think allowing more time for voting and write-ups etc would be the thing as well so that would happen as well..allowing more time for the second round votes especially....



...so yes, thoughts and all..?...

I'm all for increasing it to 15 for round 2. And as far as when the next one is goes, whenever's best for you really but I think every 6 months is good so February is fine by me. Other stuff happens around Christmas time anyway like secret santa where people do nice things for each other.

Maybe you could collaborate with Benjamin (if he doesn't run away again ) or someone to help you with the christmas one and take some weight away for you so can still be a host but still also be able to spend time with friends and family I don't mind if it's in Feb too- I just love the Christmassy one for some reason

And 12/15 points would be amazing so you can basically give points to all your intentions rather than having to take away people to keep it at 10

..yeah that's true Jamie...Secret Santa and Christmas-vision and other lovely stuff so maybe good to spread it out a bit with other months as well...

I asked this on the most loved thread Ammi,since we nominate 15 members could it be possible to have to then from the final 50 also vote with reasons for 15 members instead of 10.
Bringing that in line with the nominations process.

I would love that myself but it is your baby and up to you.

Also I think 2 most loved a year is good,however February for one and maybe August /September for the other is a great idea.

I think somehow the one earlier in the year and then the one nearer the end of the year bring different voting in to the process.
Some do better in the earlier one and less well in the later one,( and vice versa), a later one in August/September opens up the chance for those who come on only for BB to get maybe recognised a little more too.

That is my thoughts but as I have always said to Zee and Ben and now to you too, this is your event,whatever you decide as to the conditions and rules for it has to be what it is and you'd have my full support whatever you decided.

I think it used to be March and September ish anyway,the only thing I would not like myself,is only one a year, that is just my view.
However I can see the full sense of now not having another this year since it is only 4 months to December now anyway.
February sounds excellent for a new start to this twice a year event.

You did it brilliantly, I loved this one as I have all the rest,I thought no one would be able to do it as well as Zee, than Ben did a great job and proved me wrong, then you took it on and no joking here at all, you really did make this totally your own with your fantastic and much appreciated efforts all through on this one.

I think you did a fantastic job Ammi and I reckon having it in feb would be better, having it at Christmas is too close to the last one anyway imo. Also, I'm up for the increase in Round 2 votes also

I'm with Niamh. February would be great. No one's got time to do anything extra in December, especially not Ammi with her family commitments. And Ammi, you did a wonderful job on ML so it's only fair we should fit in with you x

As for when it happens it only struck me this time how much time it takes, scrolling through after the event takes time never mind on the night where the host is sat for 3 hours to four hours, along with all the vote counting and write ups I wouldn't have the patience

It seems a really time consuming event Cherie,I agree.
Which is why I would always support the plans for it from the person actually doing it.

Yep it makes sense having it at crimbo when most have stuff on is difficult, changing voting to 15 will be difficult especially for me who can't think of 10 people I like that much

Aah Kizzy, there are loads of lovely people on here really.

Like yourself for instance.

My problem is the other way, I nominate 15 but could do many more.
I have a list with as many as 50 members at least on it that I really like a lot.
It is then harder when you nominate 15 and then can only vote for 10 people who get through to the final 50.
This current 50 list as an example,I could have easily voted for all but a few really.

I like the idea of increasing the votes, maybe up to 20 for the 1st round and as stated; 15 for the second.

I found the second round much harder than I expected and I had to leave people off I really like

You did an amazing job hosting Ammi. We couldn't have asked for a better host.

And I actually think having 12-15 votes for Round 2 would be a really good idea. This recent ML made me realise I like more members than I thought I did and I found myself cutting a few members I really liked out of my top 10 for Round 2 because there wasn't enough points to give and I feel bad so having an extra 2-5 votes would be really handy.

And I think February is good for the next ML. I think having the next one in December would be too soon as it's only another 4 months away from now (3 once the voting opens). Plus last year's first ML was in May whereas this year it was in August.

I think hosting the next one in February is a good idea. Maybe even introduce a Eurovision type of voting where 12 pts = 1st, 10 pts = 2nd, etc. (that might just be the Eurovision fan coming out of me though, idk if it's a good idea). Raising the number of votes to 15 in the second round could be a good idea too though.
