Arctic Monkeys I know they clearly have a lot of fans, but even when I hear their name I feel like I could go on a homicidal assault (A bit exaggerated).

GA are ok, catchy and cheesy - but in no way are they good.

Good luck to them.

Id say you should read this and pipe down in a cheap seat!

This debut album rewards their decision. Such is the depth and quality of Turner's songwriting, it plays like a best of, blasting away any skepticism with an early one-two of "I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor" and "Fake Tales Of San Francisco", before striking more contemplative notes with "Riot Van" (which dissects binge-drunk Britain) and "Mardy Bum" (a forensic exploration of relationship dynamics).

Alex TURNER is the lead singer of the band and does most of the song writing

I think you need to "chill winstan"

It's only recently that Alex Turner has been admitting to writing the songs, hence the theory that he didn't write them. He claims he didn't take the songwriting acknowledgment because he didn't want people to take the p*ss. Do you believe that? I don't.

It was the lack of a songwriting acknowledgment and the shakespearean reference at the end of 'I bet that you look good on the dance floor' that sparked the rumours. I don't know about you but I don't see Alex Turner reading a lot of Shakespeare let alone reading it and understanding it.

I'm only calling it as I see it, but please retort.
