Hey guys,

Am watching every season of Survivor, watched in an extremely weird order and have seen 1-13 and 18-32, watching 33 as it happens every week.

So at the moment am on Season 14- Fiji.

Reading general consensus on the forum Fiji is ranked quite low on season rankings and stuff like that, but my question is why?

I'm on the season finale now, I know that Earl wins but I have no idea how the final five actually pans out. So far I can't see it being that bad, yes a general alliance is doing very well, but still every episode there's a lot of game talk and surely it's no where near as bad as other seasons I've liked less, like 22, 21, 5 and 23!

What are your thoughts?

It's kinda boring but not as bad as people say. I just think a lot of people on the cast were pretty lackluster. There were plenty of people I liked but not too many that actually added much to the season. Although, Dreamz was highly entertaining and (with a lot of thanks to him) there were potential vote flips and chaos at the end of a lot of episodes heading into tribal council.

Earl played a great game too and I kinda like to watch great games played out. They should bring him back.

I never thought it was one of the worst and definitely don't think it was boring, one of the more memorable really. Earl is ok, and Yao-Man a legend. There are some unlikeable people mixed into it, but none of them win it.

The editing is too messy and the premerge tribe luxury and non luxury imbalance was pathetic

yeah the end game is surprisingly strong but the haves/have nots twist just ruins everything, and the location is really ugly too? Like, I know Survivor locations have become secondary and they don't matter at all any more, but Fiji is a remarkably ugly season. That whole island just looked dreary and muddy and different shades of brown.

Its one of the better seasons for me, I think Earl is probably one of the best winners the show has had. But yeah the half and half not twist was crap, and I agree with Reece the editing was all over the place. I mean Cassandra as a finalist did **** all all season, but the way she was treated by the jury was terrible, it was like she killed someone. Dreamz was unpleasant. I mean apart from Earl, Yau-man and Anthony, everyone was either unlikeable or the edit just ignored them we had no idea who they was when they went... aka Lilliana.

Oh and Michelle's elmination was kinda crap, the way they did it, probably the only decent Michelle the show has seen.
