My question is do you buy Music with a physical copy and play it in your Car or on a Stereo in your bedroom? Or do you buy it off ITunes and listen to it off your Computer? I'm a bit old fashioned and love buying stuff with a physical copy in my hands, I feel a bit more detatched from my Games, Music, TV Shows, or Films if I don't have a physical copy right there, I know it's weird but I do have weird habits.
![]() Anyway what's your answer?

I buy the physical CD if I want to support the artist/if it's a fave of mine. Or I'll buy an individual single on iTunes. But that's only a couple times a year.
I mostly download albums (without paying ofc) and import into iTunes. Last edited by _Tom_; 15-12-2016 at 07:16 PM. |

I don't buy music because I pay for streaming. I still buy TV boxsets and films on physical copy though.

Usually buy physical albums if they are worth buying but usually listen to singles online/buy them on iTunes

Buy some albums (have switched to vinyl) if I deem them really good (like at least 8/10 good). The rest can perch in my downloads until they record something better.

Spotify. You can still play music in your car that way anyway. Iconic albums, I buy the physical, but that is more for collection sake.

Sales of vinyl outstripped digital album downloads last week for the first time ever.
Vinyl’s triumph was announced by figures provided by the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA), which revealed that more money had been spent on vinyl albums than on digital albums downloads last week. As The Vinyl Factory reports, ERA have provided figures that show that, in week 48 of 2016, £2.4m was spent on vinyl, while only £2.1m was spent on the digital download of albums. The figures significantly contrast with the statistics that were recorded at this time last year, when only £1.2m was spent on vinyl albums while digital downloads racked up an eye-watering £4.4m worth of sales. The ERA have suggested the swing in sales compared to last year could be attributed to factors such as the recent Record Store Day Black Friday, the increasing popularity of vinyl as a Christmas gift, and the greater number of retailers – which now includes supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Tesco – who now stock vinyl. Player Information About Brightcove Back in May, it was reported that sales of vinyl in the UK had increased for the eighth year in a row. 2015 saw 2.1 million vinyl albums sold in UK, generating sales that topped an impressive £25.1m.
