It's about time. People such as Gina Miller tried their best to overturn a public vote as they were full of their own importance and 'educated' opinions. It was all about self-interest.

Brexit has to be done in a legal fashion, honestly it's funny that most leavers would have you believe that they wanted to break away from the EU to get away from their laws and let the UK's laws have precedence again but as soon as those laws got in the way of Brexit, people were ready to cast them aside

I find the fact you quoted educated like it was a bad thing quite interesting.

I put it in inverted commas clearly implying that it is their own belief that their opinion is an 'educated' one - not fact. My, my seems that you have quoted GM word for word.

Bearing in mind she was still harping on about over-turning a public vote during/after it going through the 'legal' process strongly suggests she had no interest in making the process 'legal' just hoping Parliament would be able to stop it.

Her intent doesn't mean **** and I don't care about her. We had to iron out the legal aspects unless you want to disregard the laws that Brexit would have you believe that people voted to protect. Or is it the case that we pick and choose what laws to follow on what benefits us? (but not everyone)

No vote will ever benefit everyone. In this case people were too complacent and arrogant to recognise the strength of feeling on some issues. If you snooze you loose.

My understanding is that parliament didn't didn't go through the 'legal' process to put Britain into Europe in the first place. So why would it be necessary to get us out again. All when it suits as GM was desperately attempting to stop Brexit.

I wouldn't mind being a fly on the wall of her little ivory tower. I can just visualise her sitting there with her legal advisors desperately reading through the law books with a Hugh magnifying glass trying to find some little clause somewhere to give her the ammunition to try again. All to turn her millions into billions.

Because it's the law, a law that you voted to protect and you can't pick and choose which laws depending on which one is more convenient to you. Brexit is a political and bureaucratic process, it's best to make sure that everything is above board before we launch proceedings than to charge in and potentially **** everything up later due to the process potentially not being legal.
