Hi forum, I have decided to host my first forum game after a few kind members saying I would be good at doing one. After a bit of research on google and bing, and brainstorming, I came up with an idea for a game based on the noughties hit tv show Record of the Year. I love pop music and growing up with teenage daughters means I have a fast knowledge of boybands and girlbands and cheesy pop! I thought this would be a great idea for a game. Shaun and Niamh agreed too.



The Premise

For those of you who don't remember: the premise is simple. There are ten songs (the biggest ten songs of the year) and counties across the UK voted for their favourite song. Points were dished out 1-10 in a eurovision style accordingly. The winning song would be the one with the most points. Simple!

I thought it would be fun to bring it to the forum and see if we agree with the results from the british public all those years ago.



How to play

I'll do a series of heats, from 1998-2012. Whilst the show went off air from 2006, it continued online.

I ask you kindly to give each of the songs points . 10 points being the best. 1 point being the worst.

Each day, there will be a new heat. At the end of the day I will collate the scores to reveal who TiBB voted the record of the year. It's a bit of fun and
if no one cares or wants to play i will forget it ever happened. Ha Ha.
