Soft pen and thought Kane was offside but not complaining, think we were good value for the draw overall

We started playing a lot better in the last 20 mins or so when Grealish came on. I’m happy with a draw but I won’t lie I thought we was gonna get battered 3-0 tonight especially because of how we played last Saturday.

Yeah I actually quite like it, best thing to happen to international football for a while. These games are much more competitive than friendlies and give more experience against similar standard opposition

i think the league system where teams of a similar standard play against each other is a much fairer system too

that wasn't a penalty at all, more a schwalbe

but yeah of course England need to be helped by VAR as usual, since they cannot score goals in a normal way

wish they had lost so Gareth could've been sacked to make way for Prince of Enschede Steve McClaren's comeback

Yeah, imo it gives lesser ranked countries a better chance to improve rather than always losing heavily to a much higher ranked team.

which has been the main purpose of this

and it gives top nations a chance to more compete against similar top quality teams, and also one more trophy to compete for in the end, for the qualifiers from the top groups from division A

while from divisions B & C can first try and developing their squads better and fight for a chance of promotion

+ apparently for some lower ranked teams (divisions B, C) some advantages may be possible in any euro or world cup qualifiers, in terms of who might make it to play offs, increased chances via nations league points (another tie breaker in case of ties for 3rd/4th place there)

solid win for Portugal over Czechia 2-0 in coach Santos's 100th match as their manager

ouch North Macedonia, 0-3 loss against Georgia

Kosovo nice 3-2 win over northern ireland, kinda had seen that coming since Kosovo aren't too bad

Sweden 0-1 loss against Serbia, hmm i rated the swedes higher than that but ok nations league is full of surprises i think

Gibraltar decent 1-1 draw against a on paper way stronger Bulgaria

Georgia all 3 matches won now in their group (12 goals for, 2 goals against) in a group with N.Macedonia, Bulgaria and Gibraltar

they are one who are taking maximum advantage of this nations league competition for the points
