I watched the whole thing on mute, listened to a podcast, which was needless to say 1000x more interesting than the football.

Lucky Netherlands, and also karma for Depay missing that penalty , not sure if it was a penalty, i mean it was hands, yes but we cannot saw his arm off sooo there is hands and there is hands if you get what i'm saying

that wasn't intentionally hands i think, more accidentally

although VAR was correct on both no offside moments

now roll on tuesday, home against Wales

England 0-3 Hungary on 79 mins

"You don't know what you're doing" is the cry directed at Gareth Southgate from the fans at Molienux.

Can't remember a more shambolic result in my lifetime

Be more forgiveable if it was a freak result but we've been awful in this whole series of games

I didn't even know they were playing tonight, that's how much they interest me these days.

How comes they played Hungary again, they played them last week didn't they?

England kneel Hungary 4

Hopefully Southgate does the honourable thing and resign now .

Worse home defeat since 1928

Losing twice in 11 days against Hungary who are three places behind Scotland in the world rankings ..

Hungary recently lost at home to Serbia then lost home AND away against the mighty Albania

I've never rated him as a manager. He got a dream draw in the World Cup and failed against Croatia and then another great draw on home soil in the Euros and failed again.

He's been dining out on getting far in tournaments but for the draws he's had in those tournaments and the quality of players he's had, who all play in the best league in the World, then he should be making finals and probably winning.

The World Cup even with a good draw they still only scraped past Columbia on penalties and then fell to Croatia.

In the Euro's they only had 1 major test on route to the final against the Germans and then in the final they played in defensive mode on their home ground and were deservedly beaten.

He should have won at least 1 of those tournaments, he had the best opportunity of any England manager in my lifetime.

Time to change manager, although I don't see any English managers out there with a good CV at present. All the top jobs in this country are managed by foreign managers.
