Default To the people calling this series boring..

I’m not being BITCHY it’s a genuine question so would you rather the producers just carry on the way they’re going with it all being natural OR would you want a C5-esque thingy where they do a **** stirring task/show DR clips etc

They need to do what they did with CBB19 and shove some big characters in as late entrants.

They also need to sort out the editing and stop showing the same 4 people doing the exact same thing over and over again.

They just need to stick kim back in there.
(btw not one who calls this series boring but for those who do I think that would solve it lol)

As much as C5 do make a **** show sometimes, tbf they do know when it gets too boring and does something to liven it up (CBB19 the 3 late entrants being the main example) but I fear they don’t want to ruin the positivity around this series

I don't know if they pay attention to critisism but if so I also think its because this series seems more natural and not forced this time round. Also maybe they are trying to avoid controversy lol.

I feel bad because in a way they can never win. When they try a natural series, it's criticised for being boring, but when you get a series filled with drama or one that's heavily manufactured, it gets criticised for being draining and repetitive.

I appreciate the natural approach to this series, but then again, that's not really why it's boring. The producers just seem to be focusing on the same housemates with the same storylines all the times and that gets boring to watch after a while.

They’ve had and are still having an overwhelmingly positive response to this series so far and it’s not hard to see why. The tasks are different, there’s no forced drama, they are literally letting the housemates get on with it. I’m utterly hooked into every episode tbh

I also think the cast in general is quite tame.

Like I said in another thread, it's seriously lacking a villain to root against or explosive personalities to balance things out a little.

India was shaping up to be a great character, before the moronic voters evicted her first.

I really appreciating what they're doing and in terms of production, I VASTLY prefer this way. However, the cast isn't delivering. They failed on that front.

I'm sick of watching the same scene over and over again with Andrew protesting he's comfortable with his sexuality that he can flirt with Courtney and Courtney agreeing that there's nothing between them even tho he wants to ride the dique

This/

I don't know if they want to sabatage the good press they have gotten (BBC, ITV, social media) etc.. just to try and stir it up and get people to say "oh it's not dull anymore!.

This is BB1-BB2 type in terms of drama. I like it.

I'm liking the more natural nature of this series and the fact that we have more interesting characters than the recent Geordie Shore/Love Island type who were ruining CBB for me. I am enjoying Wayne's interactions with the younger men, when he is being 'one of the lads', for instance, and am finding these scenes very comical.

However, I hate the usual focus on the showmance and would like to see a little more drama.

Only thing I'm a tad bored with is the chats tend to be around the same topics every episode

This. I think every episode last week had at least 2 or 3 scenes where the same scenario would play out and it is incredibly tedious it's like groundhog day.

Something about this season is that I'm liking the tasks/challenges a LOT more than usual.

Yeah they have had a strong start with the tasks. I personally prefer tasks that last a few days to over daily mini ones.

It feels natural and I’m actually enjoying watching. Normally with cbb, regardless of how much drama there is, I would of switched off by now. It does normally tend to get repetitive with the whole arguing with one person. This year it feels more like people watching and I think it has the potential to draw in some new viewers.

Also I think the success of love Island and I’m a celeb should be a lesson to producers that people don’t watch these shows for phoney repetitive drama and inconsistent rules and messy producers. People clearly prefer interesting people and a consistent and clear format over contrived arguments and drama.

I've actually found it refreshing.
A good varied set of housemates, not a lot of BB interference.
Some of the tasks have been better.

What drama there has been, particularly from India, was both funny and interesting but not way over the top.

I like hearing their views on things, particularly when Shane J was talking to Ann on her views and beliefs.
For me this way is more interesting and enjoyable than constant BB twists, interference and deliberately manipulated unnecessary hostility and arguments.

BB fans are never happy it seems

Bring it back to basics, no interference etc etc, that is what we have and people are still not happy

I agree that there has been too much emphasis on the gay/straight friendship like it is something that has never been seen before but other than that its been good for me
