It supposedly generates playlists for you with an equal gender balance, but mine are all the same songs (by women) just in different orders

I hardly use Spotify though, just give new albums a go on it and then usually stick 'em on iTunes if I like them.

When I try the Equalise Your Music slider it just generates a playlist which adds the likes of Ariana, Gaga, Pink, Camila etc. (ie. the most popular female artists) to what I've listened to before rather than tailoured selections - not a particularly clever algorithm really.
