You could fill in the last 3 with NFL/NBA games but I just don't remember which ones I enjoyed the most.

I wasn't a child when PS2 came out, but I'd agree that San Andreas was a good game. Also liked PES when playing against mates.

On PS1, I loved Jonah Lomu rugby, me and my late friend used to have some classic battles on that.

I wasn't a huge fan but you've just reminded me that "Path of Neo" was actually a pretty great action game, I played through it a few times.
