They clearly knew it was the police though or they wouldn't have been flying down the road at that speed. Luckily they didn't kill anyone else.

I'd imagine the Police would have had to have had lights on so they knew that but if they didn't the guys in the car may have thought it was someone looking to "race"

Unmarked car had its lights on and the guy in the BMW went thru traffic lights on the wrong side of the road.

Well no sympathy then, that's not to say they deserved to die or anything but if people don't stop when told to pull over by the police what else can the Police do? They can't just say oop they didn't want to pull over, that's ok then

All unmarked cars still have blue lights built in - a car on the motorway on my way into work this morning got pulled by an unmarked BMW with its blues flashing (noted the reg for future reference lol)

Tragic, and avoidable. Luckily they didn't hit anyone, as going at that speed, for sure they would have killed them.
