iPads aren't exactly cheap to buy or repair so really she's just wasted a lot of money.

If anything she should've confiscated them from them to teach them that actions have consequences in a sensible way, and if they got them back and continued to break rules then sell them to a second-hand trader (GAME, CEX etc).

Breaking them just makes her as immature as the kids.
