What? The Taliban believe that all those folks some of us have been pretend horrified by, falling from airplanes and stuff, are economic migrants, and not desperately seeking refuge or asylum.

Of course not. Just that it's easier to care when it's a million miles from our doorsteps, and should any of those desperate survivors make it to our borders, there will suddenly be way less empathy.

What do you mean by "some of us have been pretend horrified"

Cause to me that sounds awfully like you are accusing members of not caring.

I think I've explained it pretty well in the post you've just quoted. Our empathy is dictated by how far away from us they are; which to my mind suggests it's more about convenience, than genuine sympathy.

So can you explain who you think the "some of us" are?

Not seen one person on here have say we shouldn't be taking genuine refugees from camps, not a single person has said we shouldn't be taking Afghans, but of course some people don't want to hear that, they would rather call everyone racist

Of course it would be condemned by some and applauded by others, same as everything else.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday stressed that, “Europe alone
cannot shoulder the consequences” of the situation in Afghanistan, adding that
the bloc “must anticipate and protect ourselves against significant irregular
migratory flows”.

Hurried backtracking? I stand by everything I posted, and what you've just admitted to is baiting.

It was a sly dig and baiting the forum
..at least own your ****.

I'm done with you anyway, I'm sick of being accused of baiting people on here just cause some mod thinks I am

You were clearly cleverly wording a post to make it look like you are referring to people on the forum, but worded so you can backtrack if accused..

You are nothing to me now.

Sly dig and baiting the forum? I doubt many people on here get their posts deleted as often as I do for blatantly calling out the forum. If you think I write my posts with some matrix style backdoor so I can backtrack if I need to, then i don't know what to suggest because I obviously need to do a better job

PS: I didn't accuse you of baiting. That's your description of your own intentions and actions.
