I don't get it...

Doesn't it make more sense for the man to lift both the seat and lid to pee, then just put the seat back down leaving the cover up so the woman doesn't have to touch anything?

I think men should put both the seat and lid up when they pee...when you have finished put both down...otherwise what's the point of the lid...and that's the point of washing your hands afterwards.

Surely the budget for this programme could accommodate having 2 toilets, one for the men and one for the women.
With the men having to dispose of their waste and the women theirs.

End of any silly arguments then, that should mean.
There's plenty space for 2 toilets for goodness sake.

I mean the standard place for the seat to be is down but I grew up in a house with 3 brothers so it's pretty automatic for me to check the seat is down before going anyway

one wouldn't jump out a plane before first checking that a parachute was attached to your back, so why wouldnt you check the position of the toilet seat before using it, it's not exactly a difficult task to move it. Take responsibility for your own situation, rather than blaming others.

Well clearly the difference is if a woman doesn't notice the seat is up and sits down, you kind of fall into the bowl, the worst the happens when it's the other way round is getting a bit of wee on the seat

because the natural place for the toilet seat is down. Men are the ones who make a mess if they don't lift the seat so should put it back where it's supposed to be afterwards. It's like leaving a cupboard door open after you finish with it

Disagree with this statement. I think it is just laziness from women to have to move the toilet seat and it is easier for them to just shift the blame onto someone else

I think you are still trying to shift the blame onto men. Why don't you just check the position of the seat before you use the toilet and move it down if necessary. It just takes a couple of seconds. Why does the toilet seat position always have to be in the women's preference.

Well if you read my original post on the subject i do check however you are ignoring the point I made about the toilet seats natural position which is down, it's not a preference, it's where it's meant to be
