Simply atrocious. I heard this the first time recently, and as someone who's been working through M's discography from start to finish, I am just shocked (and disappointed?) that such an icon could release such an awful song. Horrible, dated production, terrible lyrics, and an all-round busted concept.

I do apologise, even to myself bc I'll probably hate myself in a few motnhs, but I really haven't digested the post-Music stuff as much Music and before. So a lot of that stuff hasn't clicked w me (yet). But a lot of it, I can't see it ever happening.
