It's the only time you hear about backbenchers, when they resign.
I don't know if anyone in Westminster has realised or not, but there are local elections in May. I wouldn't want to be any kind of local candidate canvassing on local issues while the whole Brexit fiasco rumbles on. |

^ I've checked and the majority for a no-confidence motion would be 6 (with the speaker's vote). 5 if Labour win the by-election seat they are defending.
