Apparently Sandra & Boston Rob will be on S39 as "advisers", but not active players



I hope this doesn't rule Sandra out of S40, since it films almost immediately after </3

Speculation that it might be called "Island of Idols" as there's been rumours of this season being based around Idol advantages or something. Plus, Sandra and Rob are Survivor "idols".

This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen but it reminds me of the champions twist in Survivor SA5 and reminds me that I need to finish watching that season

Is this actually going to happen? I don't like the thought of "advisers" at all BUT Sandra & Rob are the way to go if it does happen. (I hope that would still mean they're on the Winners season though)

Also, isn't the cast usually already revealed for the next season by now?

I've 100% seen Dan Spilo before, just can't remember from what... and makes sense since he's a 'celebrity manager.' Kinda excited to see what he's like.

Also, is this season still legitimately going to have Rob & Sandra as advisers?

Ok I just saw the preview for this season

1) The statues

2) Getting some confessionals from Rob & Sandra makes me realize I guess I'm fine with this. Worst case scenario, still getting Rob/Sandra confessionals and moments to help bring entertainment for the season.

3) Will they really not end up playing at some point? I just can't help but feel like they would Even if it's entering post-merge or something. Idk... maybe it's just the BBUS roots in me making me think this lol

4) The newbies look like they don't belong on Survivor Is that part of the twist / why they're getting mentors? ffff
