Default BB Canada 8 - COVID-19 Edition

I'm a bit out of the loop on this:

Have BBCA producers discussed the global pandemic situation with house guests families by now, since the house guests seem to be blissfully unaware of what's happening on the outside (wondering, for example, where the live studio audience was during the last eviction).

Should house guests be alerted, and be able to make a decision on whether or not to stay in the house?

I feel like they were probably made aware of it at some point (maybe before the feeds started? - although it wouldn't have been as bad then) but if they haven't mentioned it on feeds then they probably aren't supposed to talk about it in there... Micheal didn't seem too surprised by no audience or like even bothered asking why.

It would explain a bit why this cast is so damn emotional tho, as they're worried about what's going on outside the house
