It was said at the start of this pandemic, that 20,000 total deaths would have been a 'good' result.
Hardly could I call any deaths as good, however.

Even on the government's altered recording of death figures of only 28 day deaths after diagnosis.
Here in this second wave the UK is pretty close to reaching over 20,000 deaths then.

Wait until after 2nd December despite the tier system in place.
The 3 weeks running up to Christmas.
Then the 5 day more relaxation over Christmas.

Then the lead up to New Year too.

Let's see where the infections and deaths go again after that.

The vaccine isn't coming that fast to assist in these imminent periods.

One hopes for any and all success however I think this coming period to and over Christmas could prove to be the most dangerous yet.
Although I sincerely hope not.

Way too many thousands have already died unnecessarily.

I'm not sure yiu are right there, every local tv broadcast asking people in street seems that people are not as gungho about it at all. We will be 2 sadly but has to be done.
